Posted at 2014-04-14 by @gfwilliams Well, it'll still cost you £3.99 - 99p is just for the cable :) It should work with Espruino - but:
Of course you could crack it open and fit a cable directly from the battery to Espruino, and then you should be able to run Espruino on it for ages. |

At this point, wouldn't it be easier to just use a 18650 battery? ($1/ea, 1-cell holder $0.79, then either buy a charger board, or use an external charger to recharge). |

Posted at 2014-04-16 by @gfwilliams Well, that battery thing should work fine - and then I guess if you find that it doesn't power Espruino for long enough you could open it up later on. If you post some pictures we can tell you what to connect :) About the batteries, there are some links here to ones that are all pre-soldered: http://www.espruino.com/Battery The 18650 batteries look good - it'd be nice if we could find a holder that had the PHR-2 connector on it already :) |

Can I use something like that to power Espruino? The price just doesn't seem right.
