HTTP Request (through gadgetbridge)?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post in this lovely community and I'm very appreciative of you all! I'm a new dev who has some javascript skills looking to make a simple app which gets the return of a http request to an open api. Is there a way for me to do this through gadgetbridge? I'm not sure how and I've been trying to figure it out. Follow up question if so would I not be able to test this in the emulator since I need gadgetbridge attached to my device?

If you haven't already, check out this page regarding Bangle.js and Gadgetbridge.

would I not be able to test this in the emulator since I need gadgetbridge attached to my device?

That's correct, you'll need to test the code by first loading it to the bangle and then connect the bangle to Gadgetbridge. As far as I know!

Note that you'll need Bangle.js Gadgetbridge and not the main Gadgetbridge version to use http-requests.
