Quoting Alex Macdonald (2025-04-10 01:34 CEST):
It seems like on the default file manager, there is no option to create
a file (I even tried copying an existing file, this almost worked but I
was not able to rename the file).
Opening in ghost command just gets a permission error. (when I first
opened ghost commander, I got a request to grant it permission to the
filesystem which I did)
Any ideas?
Hi,
File managers are sometimes broken on some ROMs...
You might have more luck creating the files through a text editor app
(like [Editor] or [Acode]).
[Editor]: https://f-droid.org/packages/org.billthefarmer.editor/
[Acode]: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foxdebug.acodefree

This is not an issue with tinc itself but im not sure where to ask this.
Basically I auto generated the configuration files, and now i want to copy my servers configuration file into the hosts folder on my android device. Normally, I would create a file in the hosts folder, then share the hosts file with myself over email or something and copy/paste it into the file I created in the hosts folder.
