Following wireguard's approach to have client/configuration shared easily, could we have a QR facility within the tincapp?
This also would invite tinc developed on other platforms to support the same approach.
Beside this it could be a very cool way to have a VPN between two handset.
Thanks

That's already possible to some extent. You can already:
- generate a tinc invitation on a desktop computer,
- render the link as QR code,
- go to the config screen of the app, select "join via invitation" and flash.
It's harder for a mobile device to invite another, because, if I recall
correctly, the endpoint of the invitation has to be publicly reachable.

I successfuly managed to connect linode and desktop. Now I want to add phone to the bunch. Can I have exact, detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish bidirectional host file replication between unrooted android phone and a computer to which I can SSH from desktop but NOT from the phone?
EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw that the app only supports router mode, and my use case requires switch mode. Bummer.
