Front end won't install

I'm trying to run this with the python backend and the normal frontend. I followed the instructions in the README.md.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Clone the repository using git clone -c core.symlinks=true https://github.com/plaid/quickstart

2. Run the following as described in the readme:

cd ./node
npm install
cd ../frontend
npm ci
npm start

The npm ci call gives the following error output.

If I take the advice and run npm install again here nothing changes. npm ci always fails.
