Random grey flash on screen every 10 minutes or so (Lazer)

Every so often my screen flashes grey randomly, almost like a screen tear but only once in a while every 10 minutes or so. This issue only started after getting my new 1440p 240hz monitor, I've tried everything from messing around with freesync options to osu framerates and nothing seems to help. I have noticed using v-sync on osu! Lazer causes major screen tearing permanently while the setting is on.

specs are:
Ryzen 9 5900X
Radeon RX 7900XTX

and my new monitor is the dell alienware aw2723df

On my 60hz monitor this issue never existed

Edit: disabling scaling in windows settings seems to help but it just happens less often

Are you able to capture this on camera?

I've managed to capture the grey flash on camera, it seems to only happen during gameplay and never on the menu. I tried recording an auto-play at first but it didn't seem to want to show up. On longer maps it consistently shows up around once per play but it's still quite rare.
