Another thing we need for freemod is spread requirements. It is annoying to see someone add a 9* beatmap with no lower diffs and having to check it if it has lower diffs. |

Yeah that UX needs work but I don't think every proposed change is necessary I disagree, I absolutely want the option to select the exact difficulty I want rather than the game deciding for me.
Yeah feels a bit much, but is that a result of the multiplayer screen being too crowded? Or maybe only the team acronym should show [TEAM] like that instead? I agree that multiplayer settings are a bit confusing right now, but I like the idea of freemods/freestyle being a per map toggle |

Navigating menus is what making the game hard for new players, it should be as easy and intuitive as possible |

Thanks for your feedback. Most of what you've said is already discussed elsewhere and known by us. A lot of the current design is "get things working", rather than "make it the best UX". We'll continue to iterate where it makes sense. |

I really like how minimalistic and readable lazer interface was compared to stable. But todays update made it really kinda painful to look at

I play this game a lot, and play almost only multi, and here are my attempt on making this ui a little better
Im not a professional designer, but i can tell, when some random flags with user images appears on the place where nicknames supposed to be its not good, same for difficulties, that takes the mods place, also mods is colored and kinda square and difficulties is white and round and you get what im trying to tell
Also
A lot of people already figured out how freemods work, but even more people are still dont, and it is PAIN to explain them how it works. Make it easier, just like you can do in stable. Like, add the same thing that we have right now but not for each map individually, but for all the lobby
Also add optinon for 5 seconds timer
Also add option to start timer when everyone or like 8/10 people ready instead of when 1 person ready
Also make the timer stop when no one is ready anymore
Also if you add mode that turns your multi game into non competitive single player, maybe it's finally time to reconsider your design policy and let people to hide bright and annoying leaderboards in multiplayer, just like you can do in stable
Also when i spectate would be cool if i was able too hear the hitsounds from a player that i choose
Also sometimes when you play in 4* room with name like "4 star please dont put anything higher!!", and some dude comes and puts 7* or 2*. And its kinda rude to just remove their maps, but you have to do it, because if you wont everyone just leave, but it would be a different thing if they couldnt do this in a first place! So it would be nice to have an option to lock difficulty for your room
Also would be nice to be able to see your whole replay even if you failed in multi. Why ordr can do something that the game cant itself?
Also why are mods presets not working in multi? Shouldn't it work as long as the mods in presets are available?
Also settings search bar should be cleared when you press escape, really annoying behaviour
Also i just noticed new local score design, and the old one was better, everything is small and compressed now
Sorry for not creating a new discuss for everything i mentioned, i felt like it would be better to just put it all at once, because its all just small quality of life improvements
I hope someone from osu staff will see it and maybe think about it
Thanks for your time if you read all of this
