Section Play Mod (only play a section of a beatmap)

This might be an idea that existed before but I only found one request from 2018 that was unanswered.

I am a player who likes to go for passes on beat maps on the higher end of my skill range. often when sinking attempts into going for a pass I end up dying on a specific section multiple times. to fix this I create a local difficulty that is only the section I struggle at and practice that until I can comfortably hit it.

Another place where this mod would be useful is in skipping a section of a long map you don't feel like playing i.e., the first half of the Loved Red Like Roses. (in this case, the map is already split into parts 1 and 2) but many maps are not split like this.

The solution to these problems I have found is such: Section Play

This mod would allow the player to set a start and end time for the beat map they are playing. if left blank it would be the default start and end time of the beatmap. the player would input the place where they would like to start and end for the beat map and playing a beat map with this mod enabled would change the start and end of the beat map to where the player inputted.

Potential Mod Attributes:
Name: Section Play (SP)
icon: training exercise related (maybe a dumbbell?)
Description: practice a particular section of a beat map
Customise: 2 time codes, start and end points for the beat map

Potential Issues:

1. Determining the start and end points of the song
   it is hard to find the specific point you want without going into the editor to see the exact time code.

2. swapping beat maps
   Swapping beat maps should probably reset the item codes to the default because each song has different start and end times

3. setting up the same section many times
   if switching the beat map resets the start and end to default, there should be a way to save a mods customization per beat map, think personal presets but for a specific beat map
