how to get the type of an inputObjectType

in nexus-schema given:

export const LogInputType = inputObjectType({
  name: 'LogInputType',

    t.string('updatedAt')
    t.string('date', { required: true })
  },
})

we could get the type like so:

import { NexusGenInputs } from 'nexus-typegen'

export const upsertLog = async ({
  db,
  userId,
  log,
}: {
  db: PrismaClient
  userId: string
  log: NexusGenInputs['LogInputType']
}) => {
…

still trying to figure out the way to do this in nexus easily.

I think this is done via log: 'LogInputType' now that I look closer.

ok, I found I can import NexusGenInputs like so:

import { NexusGenInputs } from '../../node_modules/@types/typegen-nexus'.

oh, also looks like I can do:

import { NexusGenInputs } from 'typegen-nexus'

duh.
