What is <Traverser> - the runner

Traverser

The runner is a Graph Traverser which implements the various traversal algorithms whilst providing a simple abstract to its consumers, that hides the mechanics of effectively walking a graph. Provided with a <Graph> and a <Processor> it simply returns another <Graph> that is a subgraph of the first as defined and built by the <Processor>.

Responsibilities

1. Execution lifecycle of the async call to walk graph, timeout and errors.
2. Determining effective execution, (Algorithms & Threads/Isolates/Workers).
3. Distributing the work and bring together the results.

Structure

• Independent package, that only needs to be included/imported if the consumer whats to produce a graph from a graph.
• The <Graph> type can be used outside the walker package.
• The <Processors> whilst offering more transparency than the walker, there is no real use cases for it without the walker.
