Description
The Perplexity provider always shows the error "Not logged in. Sign in via Perplexity app." in red inside the OpenUsage panel, even though the Perplexity desktop app is open and fully logged in, and Comet is also running.
Other providers (Claude, Codex, Gemini, etc.) are detected and show usage correctly. Only Perplexity fails to detect the active session.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open OpenUsage with Perplexity desktop app running and logged in, and Comet also running.
- Navigate to the Perplexity provider section in the OpenUsage panel.
- Observe the error message shown in red: "Not logged in. Sign in via Perplexity app."
- Try logging out and back into the Perplexity app — error persists.
- Restart both the Perplexity app and OpenUsage — error still persists.
Expected Behavior
OpenUsage should detect the active Perplexity session from the running desktop app and display usage data correctly, as it does for other providers.
Actual Behavior
The Perplexity provider section shows a red error: "Not logged in. Sign in via Perplexity app." — even with the Perplexity app running and logged in, and Comet also active. Logging out and back in from the Perplexity app does not resolve the issue.
