The general philosophy for the template repo is to provide useful tooling, workflows, configuration etc. that will be necessary during the development lifecycle. Thereby lessening the need for users to have to remove things because they have no use for it. This is however negotiable and will be considered on a case by case basis.

New idea

New Github issues are welcome. However if you want to shakeout your idea, you can drop a message in the team's discord channel to get collective feedback first.

When creating a new issue the following must be adhered to:

  1. Provide sufficient context for the issue even if it assigned to you
  2. Use the appropriate labels
  3. Assign it yourself if you plan on working on it. If left unassigned it implies it can be picked up by anyone.

Existing Github issues

If an issue is unassigned, anyone can pick it up. If it's already assigned but you're interested in contributing, you can do so via commenting on the issue to share your thoughts. You can be a primary reviewer or contribute with your own PR in collaboration for an optimal outcome.
