Tool library bulk import and CAM software integration

Feature Request

Add ability to bulk import tools from CAM software instead of entering them one by one in the UI.

Specific CAM Software Support Requested

Vectric VCarve

• Export format: SQLite database
• User has existing tool database they'd like to import
• User is "DB kinda guy" and can help figure out schema

Fusion 360 (Already Planned)

• Tool Library import mentioned as already planned

User Impact

• Reduces setup time significantly for users with many tools
• Leverages existing tool libraries users have already created
• Improves adoption for users switching from other controllers

"I was able to export the Vectric tool database. Unfortunately its in SQLite format instead of just giving it to you in Excel. I am a DB kinda guy though so can probably figure out all the connections and pieces that are needed."

Implementation Ideas

1. File upload interface for tool library files
2. Support multiple formats (SQLite, CSV, JSON, etc.)
3. Preview/mapping interface to verify tool data before import
4. Conflict resolution for duplicate tools

Priority

Medium - Productivity feature that significantly improves user experience for power users.
