Launchpad not detected after reconnecting

Describe the bug
If the Launchpad is unplugged and then plugged back in, the program fails to detect it. The device remains unusable until the program is restarted, at which point the Launchpad is properly recognized again.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start the program with the Launchpad connected.
2. Unplug the Launchpad.
3. Plug the Launchpad back in.
4. Observe that the program does not detect the device until restarted.

Expected behavior
The program should automatically detect when the Launchpad is reconnected and reinitialize it without requiring a restart.
