missing parameter in qFTracks

Hello,
the qFTracks function is missing the parameter folder number.

I know this post is old but for anyone with this problem, here is the answer.

First you need to find where (SerialMP3Player.h) and (SerialMP3Player.cpp) are located.

File Path: Arduino\libraries\SerialMP3Player\src

Or in the drive you have arduino ide installed (most likely C drive) open the drive and in top right search for: SerialMP3Player.h

Once you have located the files there are a few values that need to be changed.

File SerialMP3Player.cpp:
find

   void SerialMP3Player::qFTracks(){    // !!! Nonsense answer
  // Ask for the number of tracks folders
   sendCommand(CMD_QUERY_FLDR_TRACKS);
}

replace with

void SerialMP3Player::qFTracks(byte f){    // !!! Nonsense answer
  // Ask for the number of tracks folders
   sendCommand(CMD_QUERY_FLDR_TRACKS, f, 0);
}

File SerialMP3Player.h:
find
void qFTracks(); // Ask for the number of tracks folders

replace with
void qFTracks(byte f); // Ask for the number of tracks folders

Save files
Reload Arduino ide

Example

Name of device
SerialMP3Player mp3(RX,TX);

How to call qFTracks
mp3.qFTracks(01);

Read answer:

  if (mp3.available()){
      serialSend(mp3.decodeMP3Answer()); //print mp3 response
    }   

Additionally if you want just the int to be the answer and not "-> Folder file count:"

In file SerialMP3Player.cpp:
find
decodedMP3Answer += " -> Folder file count: " + String(ansbuf[6], DEC);
replace with
decodedMP3Answer = String(ansbuf[6], DEC);

This is an old issue, but I tried the solution above and I still get a unspecified value, or at least it's always the count of folder 1. Is there a different function I need to call prior to getting the folder track count?
