Context
The RNA R (Ribo) process (distinct from the bacterial Ribo process) is already implemented in Limber.
However, the multi-step bed verification process is failing validation on the second step and preventing the lab from proceeding and recording this process in LIMS.
User story
As a laboratory technician working with the RNA R process, I want the multi-step bed verification process in Limber to allow to complete successfully when filled in correctly. So that I can confirm correct plate identity and reduce the risk of handling errors during multi-day procedures.

| Protocol step |
Comment |
| Scan LB Cherry-pick plate into Limber |
to reach plate page |
| Add empty LBR Ribo DNase Plate and print labels |
to create new plate |
| Add empty LBR Frag cDNA plate |
to create new plate |
| Scan LBR Cherry-pick plate in Limber |
to reach plate page |
| Select "Bravo Ribo Hyb Setup" bed verification button |
To open the bed verify page. See picture 1. |
| Scan Cherry-pick, Ribo DNase and Frag plates to their correct locations |
To bed verify. The plate is placed on robot (WS10). The plate is then removed from robot and placed on a heater. |
| Scan Cherry-Pick plate into Limber |
Plate is removed from heater and we now want to return the plate to the same position on the same robot (WS10) as in step "Bravo Ribo Hyb Setup". Scan the plate again to reach plate page. |
| Select "Bravo Ribo Depletion Setup" bed verification button |
To open the bed verify page. See picture 2. |
| Scan the Cherry-pick plate to the correct location |
To bed verify. See picture 3. Limber shows an error that "the labware is not on the right robot", although WS10 is the correct robot for the process, and the lab cannot proceed. |
