In Step 1 Download and run Eclipse IDE, it's said to "Open the Eclipse download page to download the appropriate (usually latest) Eclipse version". The words "appropriate" and "latest" are not clear, some people may look for the latest version which can be a version more recent than the one in the download page and the maximum Eclipse version proposed for the latest ADT version, which may lead to some ADT errors.
For instance, the latest Eclipse version can be 2025-09 M1 (while the download page proposes 2025-06 R), if the installed ADT version is 3.52.0 (latest) which is compatible with maximum 2025-06, there is this error: https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-q-a/error-when-generating-abap-repository-objects-wizard/qaa-p/14170620.
Instead, the following could be said:
Get the latest recommended Eclipse version at "Prerequisite Eclipse Platform" at the chapter "ABAP Development Tools" at https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#abap
Open the Eclipse download page to download the latest recommended Eclipse version.
