We should provide a way for end users to define and distribute config as NPM packages that will be automatically picked up and be usable by Sass Lint

  • Look to ESLint as model
  • Recurse down dependency tree to find config
  • Create naming convention
  • Migrate to ESLint model for config and override (provide both with a deprecation period or bump to 2.0?)

👍 for adding an extends config option like ESLint.

Any progress on this? I'd be interested in helping out.

Hey @suitupalex I was looking to get json files / .sasslintrc config files working first in #755 there was also some initial work that i need to go through from #561 but we're very keen to get this moving.
