documentation

Could you please suggest any good and complete documentation or tutorial for JQT?
The code look a bit outdated and could not find documentation newer than eight years ago. Also, the external guides mentioned in the readme file are not more available.
I was mainly searching for a way to create header and footer and menu icons on them.
