Duplicate Pool and Spa Heat Buttons / Accessories found

Since upgrading my Aqualink panel to an RS 8 Combo Rev T.2g, I see both as Switch and a Thermostat type accessory in Homebridge for the Pool and for the Spa. The Thermostat buttons for the heater work correctly, the Switch buttons seem to activate Aux 6 and 7 which aren't used.

Your aqualinkd.conf is incorrect. Look at the button part of the config and check the numbers against an RS8 panel.
Hazard a guess your last panel was an RS6 and you didn't add the extra buttons in the config, as the heaters move up by 2 numbers.

Your device list confirms this. You have Aux6 labeled as "Pool Heat" and Aux7 as "Spa Heat"

Any ideas about the parsing ERROR regarding removing duplicate endpoinID => Freeze Protection?

That looks like homebridge didn’t clean up an old ID’s.
AqualinkD will start without freezeprotect being a thermostat, then when it sees you have freezeprotect turned on it will make it a thermostat. This means that homebridge will need to change the device type of freezeprotect, and during that process it may have failed to clan up the old ID.
Set this is aqualinkd.conf
force_Frzprotect_setpoints = yes

In homebridge UI, delete the freezeprotect entity (or all aqualinkd entities), restart aqualinkd, restart homebridge This will clean it out and remake the entity. You will get a new freezeprotect device in the HomeKit app, (probably in the default room).
