* DARWIN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ******************************************
For detailed installation instructions go to:

Below is a brief summary of the steps necessary for compiling the
Darwin libraries, applications and projects.
* LINUX ---------------------------------------------------------------------
- install the necessary build tools (e.g., g++, etc)
- install the external libraries
- cd into external and run "install.sh Eigen"
- optionally run "install.sh OpenCV" and "install.sh zlib"
- alternatively link to existing copies of these libraries
- optionally create make.local with compile options (e.g., DRWN_SHARED_LIBS)
- make the library and applications
- make
- make the projects
- make drwnprojs
* WINDOWS --------------------------------------------------------------------
- install Microsoft Visual Studio (2010 Express or later)
- download the necessary external libraries (see below)
- open src/drwnlibs.sln and build
- open src/drwnapps.sln and build
- for each project, open associated solution file and build
Required (Eigen):
1. Download Eigen headers and unzip into external/eigen3
Optional (zlib):
1. Create a directory external/zlib
2. Download http://zlib.net/zlib127.zip into external
3. Unzip and copy zlib.h and zconf.h into zlib
4. Download pre-compiled library from http://www.winimage.com/zLibDll/index.html
5. Copy appropriate static lib into external/zlib
Optional (OpenCV):
1. Download and install OpenCV 2.4.9
* MAC OS X ------------------------------------------------------------------
- install the Xcode developer tools
- install wget, pkg-config and cmake (you can use the script external/macosx.sh)
- follow the installation instructions for linux
