SimpleLogin with ProtonPass Deleted All my Alias'

Hello, I set up a simplelogin account and ALL my past Alias' were deleted and only the ones created since the connection of SimpleLogin are showing in my ProtonPass. Does anyone know how to recover these emails?

Same thing happened to me. Proton Pass is definitely not ready for primetime, especially without the lock Proton Pass when the PC/Mac locks.

I accidentally deleted all my aliases... Did you guys find a way to recover them?

According to their support, "They do not remove or delete Alias' and this is my fault." I went ahead and sent them a video of their system just making them vanish right before your eyes, but they still do not seem to know why. So as of now there is no fix, what you can do is export your ProtonPass every so often which has everything, and store it in your ProtonDrive so if they start removing Alias' or even passwords you will have a back up on your drive.

But without the alias in SimpleLogin, I'm not getting any email at all. I usually wake up to 20-30 new emails every morning and this morning I had zero.

If you use your own domain names, as a temporary solution, you could enable the catch-all feature to recovery your aliases when it received an email.

I think I might have to do that. I lost all of my aliases and there were around 200 of them. I figured out what happened...I was going to migrate from 1Password to ProtonPass and imported all of my passwords into PP, and when I did so, it asked if I wanted to sync my aliases, which I did. I used PP for a couple of days, but it is missing one huge feature...the ability to lock the vaults when the computer goes to sleep. When I realized this, I deleted the vaults in PP and with that, all of my aliases. I honestly can't believe that PP allows you to delete the aliases, seeing that on the SimpleLogin support page it specifically says that they do not recommend you delete aliases. Live and learn.

Same happened to me. SL says they don't delete alias's, but if you delete Passwords why would it delete the alias's. There should at least be a backup. WTF this sucks

I didn't delete the email addresses, I just backed up my passwords, then deleted my passwords because they had gotten duplicated when importing from Bitwarden. Somehow the Alias's got deleted, but apparently not restored.

If you delete the passwords in ProtonPass, the aliases get deleted automatically.

Like you said, it would have been nice to receive a "huge warning", before proceeding.
