Offline sender crashes

@alahiff if possible could you let me know:

• What type of simulation you were running at the time
• Whether the sender had successfully ran for that simulation before this
• Whether you can reproduce
• Any additional log info / console output you have access to?

Yes, for around 10 hours or more.

The sender produced no other logs or info. I've commented out the try... except... in my attempt to reproduce it in order to get more info, as use of try... except... strips out lots of useful into unfortunately.

Thanks, very weird that it happened > 10 hours in :/

If you see it happen again don't delete the cached files - hopefully we can just manually clear the sender lock file and try running the sender again and itll fall over in the same place which might help us debug :)

I haven't been able to reproduce this again, but I intend to run a larger scale number of offline runs tonight.
