Provide a way to change the default sorting method in settings

In radar-desktop can an option be added under settings to change the default ordering of a resource? I understand one can click on the heading a column to sort by that heading, however can an option be added to the settings for hat ordering to be persisted?

Example:
Sometimes one would desire to see resources by age as the default ordering instead of by alphabetical order
