Smplayer only remembering some recent files, not all

It used to remember the recent videos that I played, but since installing it on a new computer, it's been hit-or-miss. I can’t see any rhyme or reason to it. It especially doesn’t remember most of the videos when I enter the address in the URL bar. Is there a way to get it to remember my recent videos more reliably? Thanks

I don't know, maybe there's a problem when closing smplayer (it's when it saves its configuration files).

Thanks for the reply. I will say this. I just changed computers and I wanted to keep the same shortcuts I had on the old one so, acting on a tip, brought the configuration ini file over. I did let me keep my shortcuts. I just noticed it again to day-that it didn't list all the recent videos played.
