feat request | apply selected providers from "Overview tab providers" to "Show most-used provider" feature #1743

Description

@tom-rigelblu

User Need: See the most-used provider in the menu bar based on the "Overview tab providers" configuration

Why:

  • When one-provider is on a much lower usage tier (i.e. $20 vs $200 plan), the lower-usage tier usually shows for the most-used provider
  • It's technically accurate, but not the most useful. I want to exclude low-tier providers from the "Show most-used provider" setting

Context:

  • There others, more complicated ways to do it but I don't think the value would justify it

Example

  • Codex and Claude are enabled
  • Antigravity is disabled
Image

Current State

When I have "Show most-used provider" enabled

Image

It often shows Antigravity because it has a lower usage tier

Image

Desired State

See only Codex and Claude in the menu bar (when Antigravity is not enabled in Overview tab providers)
