[Enhancement] In Search History, Add tabs to filter through typed queries vs recently opened items

I like the files search aspect of this to allow me to quickly find something vs having to open a file manager and navigate to it, but when using it for opening a sequence of files it doesn't work very well. Specifically, if I have a series of TV episodes that I'm watching, if I search "TV Show Name" and select the first episode, when I go to open the next episode, the "TV Show Name" search isn't in history, because I didn't hit enter on it, but rather the actual episode I opened is, because that's what I selected. While that's useful for wanting the same file again (e.g. a pdf), in this case it's not, and so every time I have to retype "TV Show Name" then select the next episode.

When a search is typed and a file is selected, both the selected file and the search should be shown in history, allowing the user to either reopen the same file or perform the search again without having to retype it, in order to allow selecting another file with a similar name.

This might be too complicated, but what would be really nice is to have it intelligently recognize the name of the last file opened by that search and show the next file in sequence. For example, if I opened "TV Show Name 303" it would show that file as well as "TV Show Name 304" under it, making it easy to find the anticipated next desired file.

I'm thinking to handle this using tabs in search history card. One tab will show all typed queries and one tab will show recent items.

Tabs might be ok, though I prefer being able to swipe between tabs in situations like this, vs having to tap the tab, but swiping currently opens a new note or settings, so that would be tricky. And I'm not sure they're really needed, as they don't seem to address this particular issue and I'm not sure they add anything more than an additional necessary tap/gesture. The problem is, it wouldn't solve the problem unless it actually shows typed queries, not just queries where the user hit enter. If I type "TV Show Name" and select a file, and it doesn't count what I typed as something to save because I didn't hit enter, then nothing changes. And saving any typed text where enter wasn't pressed would get very messy. What it needs to do is count opening a file in the same way as hitting enter, i.e. add the typed text to the search history in the same way as it would have if hitting enter, so then that text can be tapped from the history to put it in the search bar, which would then do that search again and show the file(s) the user wants. So for example, I type "TV Show Name" and tap the episode I want, it saves both "TV Show Name" and the file to the search history, then later I don't have to retype that, I just select it from history and it shows all the episodes, allowing me to tap to open the one I want.

Tabs would be useful in helping find things faster. If I want to find the next episode, tapping the search (i.e. the typed text) would show all files/episodes, so I could pick one. If I want to open the same file I've opened before, I probably don't want to repeat the search and then have to find and select the file, but rather just want to be able to reselect the file itself immediately.

An extension to this might be to have settings for what file types would be included in each. For example, users may not want media files to show in recent files, since after watching/listening they're done with it and don't need it again, and therefore don't want the clutter. Whereas a PDF/doc/spreadsheet might need frequent access, and the user probably doesn't want cluttering the search terms (typed queries) history since they'd rather just find and select it directly in the files history.
