NodeJS modules

I'm trying around a bit with building a Home Automation system using ThingsDB. A part of this project is adding ZWave support, which is ideally done through the ZwaveJS library for NodeJS.
Thus raising the question if it's possible to implement NodeJS modules into ThingsDB. Seeing that module communication primarily happens through stdin/stdout.
