mesh 3d orthographic view hard surface

I've been trying to create a hardsurface mesh to export this into blender but this export in a curve way because is adapted for perspective view, is there a way you could add this functionality?

I'm not sure if it's depreciated.

Alternatively In blender, this is a workflow that might work

1. Create a grid with the image resolution
2. Add a displace modifier on the grid
3. Add the depth image to modifier as the texture
4. Add a material with an image texture of the original image
