Setup

run the following chunk to setup

usethis::use_vignette("tmp.qmd")
file.remove("vignettes/tmp.qmd")

then remove knitr from the DESCRIPTION file.

For each vignette do:

change name of file from filename.Rmd to filename.qmd

2. Remove %\VignetteEngine{knitr::rmarkdown} from vignette: >

3. Remove output field in the yaml.

4. Make sure the following are listed under vignette: >

%\VignetteEngine{quarto::html}
%\VignetteEncoding{UTF-8}

5. add the following to the yaml

knitr:
  opts_chunk:
    collapse: true
    comment: '#>'
