After a game like super mario world starts and passes the dialog, the emulator crashes the webpage giving this error.
start main LoopQuit Event. Bye.
SDL_Quit called (and Ignored)

It seems fine for me to use http://tjwei.github.io/xnes/sound4/snes9x.html with firefox on linux. Can you give me more details so that I can reproduce the issue?

I was using the latest chrome, and here is a screenshot
super-mario-loop-quit
I just tried using the latest firefox and the emulator is not responsive to the keyboard buttons, so i can't do the test.
I'm using windows 8.1

I just tested it on linux chrome, could not reproduce the issue.
However, I noticed that size of your rom is not the same as mine.
Can you send me a link of the rom?
