From your screenshot, hm2mqtt relay + parsing look fine ( What likely happened: hm2mqtt was temporarily configured with a wrong device type/assignment at some point, so Home Assistant created MQTT discovery entities for the wrong device. How to clean this in Home Assistant:
After that, the “data visible in MQTT Explorer but empty in HA” mismatch should be gone. |

From your screenshot, hm2mqtt relay + parsing look fine (
hm2mqtt/VNSE3-0/device/<gmac>/datais populated).What likely happened: hm2mqtt was temporarily configured with a wrong device type/assignment at some point, so Home Assistant created MQTT discovery entities for the wrong device.
Right now you are probably looking at that stale/wrong HA device, not the current VNSE3 mapping.
