Venus E 3.0 Data available in MQTT Explorer but not in Home Assistant

Hi all,
after many discussions with the Marstek support, i finally got MQTT running with my new Venus E 3.0. (I've owned a Venus E 2.0 for quite some time now, and it worked perfectly right away.)

Now, the result is a working Hame Relay. No Timeout and forwarded messages of both Venus E devices:

In hm2mqtt, there is occasionally no response from both Venus devices, approximately every 10 minutes. However, in general it seems to work.

The timeout is set to the default value of 30 seconds.

I can also see both devices in MQTT Explorer with up-to-date timestamps:

In Home Assistant, both devices are listed under MQTT (Marstek Venus == Venus E 2.0, VNSE30 == Venus E 3.0):

The data from the Venus E 2.0 is shown correctly in Home Assistant:

However, there is no data shown for the Venus E 3.0:

I think this is a configuration error on my side, because MQTT Explorer works correctly, but I have no idea what I should change.
Can someone support me?

From your screenshot, hm2mqtt relay + parsing look fine (hm2mqtt/VNSE3-0/device/<gmac>/data is populated).

What likely happened: hm2mqtt was temporarily configured with a wrong device type/assignment at some point, so Home Assistant created MQTT discovery entities for the wrong device.
Right now you are probably looking at that stale/wrong HA device, not the current VNSE3 mapping.

How to clean this in Home Assistant:

1. Go to Settings → Devices & Services → MQTT.
2. Open the affected Venus/VNSE3 MQTT devices.
3. For the wrong/stale device, use Delete device (remove all related entities).
4. Restart hm2mqtt (or reload MQTT integration) so discovery is published again.
5. Check that HA recreates the device as VNSE3-0 with the correct gMAC-backed topics.

After that, the “data visible in MQTT Explorer but empty in HA” mismatch should be gone.
