Issue Description

I have used https://tomquist.github.io/hmjs/ to switch to a local MQTT broker via the MQTT configuration option. Since that I can not communicate to the B2500d any longer. I have tried with the Bluetooth connection via the IOS App. I have restarted the device several times and waited long enough. The status LED on the B2500d in blinking. I have tried to 'Reset the MQTT Config' The I get the following LOG:

Since I cannot retrieve the Bluetooth MAC ID any longer I cannot setup the hm2mqtt and therefore I cannot provide any more logs

• Is the device charged?
• Note that the device can only connect to one device at a time, so make sure to turn off Bluetooth on your computer or phone when trying to connect with the other device.

I switched off all Bluetooth devices and only kept one I-PHONE with bluetooth. Then I was able to make a Factory Reset to the B2500D with the IOS APP. The 'factory reset' also sets back the MQTT settings.

I tried again.

• I'm connected via Bluetooth from my iPhone, so I know there is 34% power left in the B2500-D

• Deaktivate BT on iPhone
• Try to connect from PC via https://tomquist.github.io/hmjs/
• I can find the device

• But I'm not able to connect

So it's not the same problem, actually an entirely different one. Try with a different PC/phone. Some devices seem to have issues to connect because of bugs in their Bluetooth drivers

I tried with my business notebook, but some result 😕

I recognized that if I try to connect via BT directly in Windows I have to enter a code. Do you know if this is normal behavior or could this be the problem?

Edit one hour later: It was not relevant

I could do a reset to factory settings and could get it to work.
For me (hopefully) case closed
