Request for new 1440px token for max-width #4301
-
Our team is following the recommended 1440px max width for content and noticed the sizing tokens only go up to 1232px ($size-120). We'd like to use tokens, so would it be possible to get a token for 1440? Thanks! |

Disclaimer: This is a very experimental bot using OpenAI's GPT-4. The answers may not be correct, a human will review the answer and update it if necessary. Most components in Paste are set to 100% width to fit responsively inside any container, providing flexibility across different UIs. While the current sizing tokens go up to 1232px ($size-120), there's an acknowledgment of the need for high-level guidance on layouts and spacing. This is part of the work on One Twilio planned for 2023. If the lack of a 1440px sizing token is a blocker for your team, consider signing up for office hours for more personalized feedback. For now, it seems like the design system is open to evolving and possibly adding new tokens as needed, but specific plans for a 1440px token have not been mentioned. For more information, you can refer to the Spacing and Layout guidelines and stay tuned for updates on layout and spacing guidance. Soo it seems there was a typo 🙀 the actual max content size is 1232px ($size-120 token). |

We’re updating the docs to reflect this update, so you should be good to go with the current tokens. Sorry about that and thank you for checking!
