Disclaimer: This is a very experimental bot using OpenAI's GPT-4. The answers may not be correct, a human will review the answer and update it if necessary. Sorry, I don't know how to help with that. I did do a search though, and I managed to find these other Discussions that might be similar or related to your question. Give them a read to see if they answer your question. If they do, head back here and update this discussion and mark it as answered, pointing others to the related discussion:

Hi Paste team,
We are implementing the ability to join paths in journeys. Because we don't have a full drag and drop canvas, we need to implement a way for users to connect and disconnect paths in a fixed flowchart. In my design, I've chosen to place the option to connect a path to an existing step within the plus buttons on the canvas. This option only appears if:
The biggest issue with this design approach is the discoverability. Users who solely use drag and drop to add steps may not see the option to connect paths, and the option itself is only visible when specific conditions are met. Do you have any feedback on how I can improve discoverability?
One option I've explored is to keep the path connection visible but disabled, with a tooltip explaining why the option can't be used. However, I'm unsure if it's an accessibility issue to place a tooltip inside a disabled menu item.
Here's the Figma file for reference – I appreciate your time!
