Nested Menu Items

I am an app server admin, setting up ATSPM for end users. I recently updated ATSPM to 4.2.3 from an earlier version of 4. Nested menu items no longer work. In our test environment I created separate menu items for each category (ex: Documents, Train the Trainer, Security etc) and that made the nav bar more functional but when we moved to prod it is less functional. The drop-down works but moves to the extreme left. Is there a way to resolve this?
