I am trying to run microbiomeseq in R3.6.1 in Ubuntu 14.04. While I was able to run it successfully in Ubuntu 18, there seems to problems in Ubuntu 14.
I am facing problems in installing dependency 'adespatial'. The exact issue is with its dependency 'sf'. package 'sf' requires gdal-config >= 2.0.1. However, Ubuntu 14.04 has gdal-config = 1.10.1. Instructions for installing gdal-config=2 through ppa is available and doesnot works for Ubuntu 14 (I guess because of support issues and 14 being older version).
Is there any alternative to this issue??
Thanks,
Ankit
