User account / password with VLM2 and QtVlm

I am able to log in VLM with my old account user/password, but it is accepted by VLM2 (new interface) nor by Qtvlm (for connection with VLM). Are they any specific restrictions for these more recent applications? My password is 8 characters long and includes upper and low case and digits and special characters (ASCII ones). Should I change it and remove any special character?

Hi,

Qtvlm V 5.8.2(patch 3) , downloaded yesterday.

Interface VLM2 works only if launched from VLM1 boat control window, but for reconnection, need to go back to VLM1.

Machine: laptop Asus N751JK, Intel i7-4710HQ (x64), OS Win 8.1
