I am running into an issue with lighting errors on all lit custom materials. This problem persists on any material located inside the /plugins/UGCXXXXX Content folder.
To test this, I put the following materials in a very dark test scene that only has STATIC lighting:
- Original M_Shack_Rough_Simple material
- Duplicate of the M_Shack_Rough_Simple material in /plugins/UGCXXXX Content
- Custom material with Directional Lightmaps set to OFF in /plugins/UGCXXXX Content
- Custom material with Directional Lightmaps set to ON in /plugins/UGCXXXX Content
Here's the materials unlit, in-editor:

Here's the material in-game captured from a Quest 2 headset:

As you can see, any custom material gets a huge lighting boost. If you look at the cubes, you can see there's some sort of directionality to it, suggesting it's a rogue Directional Light coming from SOMEwhere.
I tested the "Directional Lightmaps" settings because some folks on the Discord indicated this was the source of the issue, but as you can see, it doesn't seem to fix it.
Does anyone know how to address this? I'm very frustrated that all of the lighting in my maps is blown out; many custom maps people are playing online are also exhibiting this issue.
Thanks much, I'd really like to get my map looking nice by launch!
edit: By the way, yes, everything is set to STATIC, lightmap UVs are correct, and the level has been built & saved.
