Description
Hi Varvara and Mar,
I’m a master’s student at Hochschule Pforzheim in the Design and Future Making department, and as part of one of my projects, I’m working on creating the Circular Knitic. I have a few questions regarding the 3D printing and laser-cutting of some parts:
-Regarding the 3D printing, I noticed that the required layer height is quite thin, which significantly increases the printing time. Could you explain why such thin layers are necessary for this project?
-For the laser-cutting process, is there a specific offset value I should consider to achieve the correct thickness for the cuts?
-Lastly, about the plexiglass parts: can I use the same thickness (5mm) for all the components, or are there any specific parts that require a different thickness?
Thank you very much for your time and support :)
Best regards,
Serra
