Describe the bug
When using Nushell on Windows, updates to the PATH by vfox sometimes do not take effect. This is happening because of a Nushell issue, documented at nushell/nushell#15170. Their recommended workaround is to set Path on Windows, while continuing to set PATH on other operating systems.

As mentioned at #412 (comment), I plan to create a pull request sometime this week to address this issue.
