Uki requires <script> tag to be located in the <body> tag

I'm not sure if it's an intentional design decision, but the probe function in Uki (line 1203 in the 0.3.5 dev download) requires the doc.body element to exist, and so it seems to choke when I attempt to put my app's <script> tag in the <head> element, since the dom doesn't have the body element added yet.
