Ollama connection problem on firefox

Error communicating with LLM: ollama error 403:

model name given settings saved browser page is refreshed. Ollama is running. Another thing is it would be great to select ollama models on the go from a dropdown menu with "ollama list" prompt like in cli. I am hoping ollama mode gets fixed. Example for that "Pageassist" extension has a dropdown menu.

The 403 is on Ollama's side, not ours. Recent Ollama versions enforce an Origin allowlist. Browser extensions send Origin: moz-extension:// (or chrome-extension://...),
which is not on Ollama's default list (just localhost/127.0.0.1). The fix is the user setting an env var before ollama serve:

OLLAMA_ORIGINS="*" ollama serve

or more narrowly:

OLLAMA_ORIGINS="moz-extension://,chrome-extension://" ollama serve

We can't fix that from extension code — Origin is forced by the browser. But what we can do is detect 403 from the Ollama provider and replace the empty-body error with a hint
pointing at OLLAMA_ORIGINS. That turns "ollama error 403: " (currently shown to the user — confirmed in src/chrome/src/providers/openai.js:118) into something actionable.

On the dropdown ("ollama list"): Ollama exposes GET /api/tags which returns installed models. Adding a "Refresh models" button next to the field that fetches that endpoint and
shows a (still typeable, but with autocomplete) is a small ~30-line change. A full dropdown replacing the text
