Hi, to communicate with your Tesla MY using TeslaBleHttpProxy, the device running it (e.g., your Mini PC) must be within Bluetooth range (~5-10m) of the car. Since your Mini PC is 20m away, you’ll need a Bluetooth Gateway like a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W or Raspberry Pi 4 in the carport, running TeslaBleHttpProxy. The TWC3 cannot act as a gateway. Configure EVCC to connect to the Raspberry Pi’s IP. Follow the repo’s setup guide for key generation and installation. |

So far I got the software running, will try to create the key tonight.
What I did not get yet: do I need extra equipment for the communication with the Tesla?
My setup:
Tesla MY and TWC3 in carport, about 20m away from my house. Wifi is available there.
Mini PC running evcc and everything is inside the house.
Do I need a Bluetooth Gateway? Will the TWC3 work as a Gateway?
If I need a Bluetooth Gateway, does anyone have a recommendation on what to use?
Thank you for your support!
