Sequence Element MisMatch: Allow mapping to Sub Elements #5207
Comments
Doesnt it default to the import mapping screen where you would expand the > to show the submodels? |
@derwin12 It is giving me a drop down list in the screenshot that doesn't show sub-models. (I'm still on 2024.19, but I don't think this changed recently.) |
It only opens the import screen if 10+ models are missing, kind of assuming 10+ means you are using the wrong layout. I think what Greg want to do is not possible ATM |
Maybe Alex added the ability to Alias a Submodel to a old model name but you would have to do it in the layout before you open the sequence |
If you choose Map to Other you will get the Import Effects window after this prompt. |
@cybercop23 Thanks. That works. I close this. |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
If you delete a model, and then open a sequence it will allow you to map the effects to a full model, but you can't select a sub-model. Would be nice to use a sub model.
Describe the solution you'd like
Pop up model window allows sub models to be selected
Describe alternatives you've considered**
