e.g. is there a chance that the issue happens randomly and you just happen to encounter it in an XBL session or is it always present in XBL and not present in local play?
sorry i "think" this is GL only but due to the random nature of matchmaking its hard to get the same maps where this occurs in would need to try custom games on live to see if it still happens there. i also saw the renderer completely break down on someone streaming it back when insignia came out too but that was after a few hours of play.

insignia forces use of 1.5 update. its present in XBL play on disc maps with suns as far as i can tell so far. it is not present in systemlink/splitscreen play in my experience. and i am able to confirm its an issue in both gl and vk backends.

when playing a live match using insignia the sun has texture corruption but not under splitscreen/systemlink
