How to wait during Rolling Update

Hello,

In my environment,
We are migrating from one version of spilo 13 p4 to spilo 13 p6.

But due to some constraints,
We need to ensure that the "Rolling update" is finished and successful before applying of database schema.

How is it possible to monitor if a rolling update is ongoing, finished or/and successful ?

Could we use the operator to know the status and to wait about a change ?

What do you recommend to automate and be sure that, nothing is ongoing on the cluster ?

Do we have to use patroni ?
Do we have to use something else ?

I'm still looking for something that can behave synchronously and on what we can wait till its end.
