questions about using open chatGPT assist

In the update of version 0.88.3 it says "if OPENAI_API_KEY is defined in your environment". Does this mean in the bash env (did not work) or the Zed configuration file? I could not find information about this on the community website.

Neither starting from Launchpad nor command line with zed (environment variable confirmed existed) works for me. The command ai: assist does not found.

Sorry we haven't been too vocal about this, but the AI feature we released here was mostly a small tiny prototype that we were playing around with internally (we probably shouldn't of mentioned it in the release notes). It will be removed very soon, as we're finishing work on a larger, more polished, AI-based feature, that will be more stable and supported. I recommend to skip trying to set this up! :)

I'm actually going to close this since our new feature should be landing in next week's release (v0.90.0) and the code related to this prototype will be stripped out.
