FailSafe feature is not available

Hi!

Just to comment that with this version, the FailSafe feature provided by the receiver is lost :(.

But, good news are that I have already a version which includes the Failsafe feature implemented and the SBUS too (without additional HW)!!! I'm in the testing phase, but the main issue is that I don't have a SBUS device yet to test it, waiting for a new drone to be able to do it.

CH7 will be used for PPM or SBUS output, and CH6 for selecting betweem them. CH0 to CH5 remains PWM.

As soon I can test, I'll fork your project and share it!!! (compilation is under Arduino IDE + MiniCore board, much easy for all of us).

What I think these receivers lack even more than serial digital output is telemetry and at least an analog RSSI output for Flight controllers (to display it in OSD). Also, I do find Optimas (7) to lack proper diversity antennae.

Fully agree with you tloki. If I have to buy a new receiver, for sure it won't be an Optima one... There is a lot of receivers with better features and cheaper.

The idea here is to be able to reuse our "old" receiver with new devices which requires PPM or SBus!
