This is the Fifth Stable Maintenance Release of Metadata Remover tool .

Fixed CVE-2022-1475 in ffmpeg component.
Fixed CVE-2022-23935 in exiftool component.
The Linux version of Metadata Remover is deprecated but still supported. It is advised to use mat2 from https://0xacab.org/jvoisin/mat2 for linux.

For Linux Users -
Install ffmpeg and exiftool .
For ubuntu and Debian based Linux Distros use following command:-

sudo apt update && sudo apt install ffmpeg && sudo apt install libimage-exiftool-perl

Then simply Extract MRT.zip :-

cd MRT
python3 MRT

For Windows Users -

Use Metadata Removal Tool v3.2.6.exe given below.
For Python version :-

step1: uncompress Metadata_Removal_Tool_windows.zip .

step2: click run.bat
